In-Store Consumer Research

To validate the sweetness descriptor model, Quality Assurance conducted in-store consumer research at six different LCBO locations.

We invited 480 customers who consume wine on a regular basis to taste three wine samples, each containing different concentrations of sugar and acidity. Then we asked them to respond to a series of questions intended to help LCBO understand their preference between the current Sugar Code system and Sweetness Descriptors.
