LCBO has embarked on a multi-year program called Future State Modernization (FSM) that will strengthen our IT systems, streamline our business processes, and improve operations for our company and our partners.

As of April 1, LCBO will require additional product information for all newly approved product submissions. This will be collected via online form (separate from NISS) temporarily until late summer 2026 when the data fields will be built into relevant systems as part of future FSM releases. This additional information will support QA regulatory reporting and enhance local

product classifications, as well as capture supplier’s wholesale pricing estimation and their interest in dropshipping for wholesale customers.

Over the coming weeks, the Category team will contact agents to collect the expanded product information for:

• products approved in NISS but not yet active as of April 1
• any new products approved in NISS after April 1 until late summer 2026

Remaining suppliers/agents will be required to start providing this information in late Summer 2026. Further information will be provided in the coming months.

To help agents prepare, below is a summary of the additional product information that will be requested by the Category team. (* indicates a required field).
