Following the launch of LCBO Gateway on April 1, we listened to feedback from our trade partners, who told us that the ability to confirm purchase orders (POs) in bulk was a critical enhancement for those managing high order volumes. We’re pleased to share that this functionality is now available. This will significantly reduce administrative time for suppliers and agents.
Starting today, users will note a new tile on the Gateway homepage called Submit Bulk Confirmation. At a high-level, this app allows users to download an Excel template pre-populated with POs eligible for confirmation (up to 5,000 POs per download), fill in required confirmation details, and upload it back into Gateway to submit confirmations in bulk.
From within the Orders app, Gateway users are also now able to download up to 10,000 POs with line-level details using a new Export with Line Items button. This will help streamline your reconciliation process.
To support you with this new functionality, training materials are now available under the training and resources section of the Gateway page on Doing Business with LCBO.
