Earlier this year, we communicated that due to the pandemic we were delaying planned updates of Specialty Services Programs, including Consignment and High-Volume Consignment Program Guidelines (the “Program Guidelines”), until Fall 2021. We’re now pleased to provide the revised and consolidated Consignment Program Guidelines  which are effective November 1, 2021.

Key changes include:

·         Removal of private orders

·         New consignment tier

·         Consignment and High-Volume Consignment program updates

·         Storage, handling and administration fees

·         Consignment Program Agreement

These are important updates to the Consignment Program. Please take the time to review and understand the revised Program Guidelines and share them with your respective suppliers.

The new guidelines were developed in consultation with industry stakeholders, including Drinks Ontario. They will simplify and streamline the consignment process, making it easier for you to do business with the LCBO – a key strategic priority.

Next month we will share a revised Consignment Program Agreement, which includes an updated Supplier Agreement and Appointment of Agent Form. We will require all agents (and suppliers where relevant) to sign the revised Consignment Program Agreement at their earliest convenience.

Further information regarding updates to the Consignment Program Agreement will be included in a separate communication.

If you have any questions, please contact your relevant LCBO representative or email us at psinfo@lcbo.com

Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we work to implement these changes.
