2025 was an exceptional year for the Spirit of Sustainability (SoS) platform, marked by meaningful progress and industry‑wide collaboration. Thanks to the generous support of our Suppliers, LCBO launched the Industry Catalyst Fund – a fund dedicated to fostering equity and advancing environmental priorities within the beverage alcohol industry in addition to addressing emerging community needs and promoting moderation. Last year, through the Fund we provided scholarships to diverse women pursuing careers in the beverage alcohol industry and grants to seven Black‑owned beverage alcohol businesses, supporting their growth, advancement, and representation. Alongside these initiatives, our in‑store fundraising campaigns delivered remarkable results, raising $1 million more in 2025 than in 2024, demonstrating once again the power of collective action.

And 2026 is already off to an equally powerful start. The Q1 2026 Spirit of Sustainability (SoS) Quarterly Newsletter captures the impact made from January through March by highlighting how new employee engagement initiatives and charitable partnerships are driving meaningful change across Ontario communities, including:

 • $1.5M raised in support of Women’s College Hospital

 • The introduction of Food Bank Days, offered in partnership with Feed Ontario and Second Harvest

 • A feature on our collaboration with March of Dimes, including a testimonial from a program participant
