Thank you to those who registered and attended the May 27 Quarterly Trade Update. These calls are an important way for alcohol suppliers and their agents to stay up to date on policy and program updates.

The slides from today’s call can be found here.

A few reminders

Product calls for wholesale catalogue:
Information on the upcoming products calls for wholesale catalogues, and the supporting requirements, can be found here.

• Existing supplying sources (i.e. those who fulfill and deliver directly to wholesale customers today) must sign the new Service Level Agreement by 5pm today (May 27), otherwise they may be removed from wholesale product catalogues. Relevant suppliers were sent this SLA earlier this month. If you have any questions, reach out to wholesalecatalogue@lcbo.com.

• A Q&A based on questions submitted will be added to the page by the end of the week.

FSM: For the status updates on ongoing improvements related to the April 1 release of Future State Modernization (FSM), you can visit this page, which is updated – at minimum – on a weekly basis.

• Suppliers can expect to receive Narrowcast reporting today. Sale of data reporting is still being worked on and we will keep you updated on progress.

• Further information on the next FSM releases, as shared on the Quarterly Trade Update, will be added to this page in the coming week, including a Q&A. Stay tuned for more information on these releases in the coming months.

Pricing: We received some pricing-related questions. As a reminder, effective April 1, LCBO calculates the wholesale basic price using a new cost-plus model. This change applies to wholesale customers including grocery stores, convenience stores, duty-free operators, the Beer Store, hospitality licensees and LCBO Convenience Outlets (LCOs). The same wholesale pricing model is used for LCBO retail. Learn more here.
